This method mainly use for some less acidic foods, such as meat, fish, poultry, milk, eggs and so on.Sterilization temperature is generally 121℃ or 134℃. The method used is to put the aluminum foil bag into a high pressure closed container with steam or pressurized water heating.

Aluminum foil packaging can also using to sterilize food or drinks after exposure to ultraviolet light. When using this method, the intensity and time of ultraviolet radiation should be determined according to the size of the package and the amount of the contents.
